Located in the hills outside of Dundee in the heart of Oregon’s wine region, the Domaine Serene Winery was built in 2001. Over time, the quality of the wine drew visitors and the winery expanded the campus and Waterleaf was selected to design a new hospitality clubhouse. Opened in 2017, the 34,000 square foot facility includes several wine tasting experiences, ranging from a vaulted public tasting room to wine club member areas and an underground cave, as well as wine storage, catering kitchens, and administrative offices. The design takes cues from the existing winery to extend the campus feel of the property. The location was carefully sited to overlook the surrounding vineyards and offer expansive views from Mount Hood to the Coast Range.
