Ana grew up in Portland and was drawn to art early, influenced by her father’s work as an architect and his interest in design. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design as a furniture designer and she feels a responsibility to the functionality of the piece she is designing to ensure that it serves the users as intended. Well-designed buildings share those same ergonomic principles and that is what attracts Ana to architecture. Ana has an eye for graphically representing the way space is managed and shares her artistic talent with Waterleaf.
